Show Notes

Welcome to a special holiday edition of What the M!

This week, Kent and Steve get in the spirit of the season by interviewing Stanley C. Middleman, Founder and CEO of Freedom Mortgage, about his and his company’s incredible devotion to philanthropic work. One of the largest FHA and VA lenders in the country, Freedom formed “Team Freedom Cares,” (TFC) which focuses on providing support for underserved communities, in 2013. Since then, TFC has formed their now-famous “Rucksacks to Backpacks” campaign, provided over 14 million meals for Feeding America, and held dozens of yearly fundraisers for other worthy causes. For their tireless dedication to their community, TFC received the 2021 “Faces of Philanthropy” Award, bestowed by the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Of Stan’s many professional successes and philanthropic endeavors, perhaps his most remarkable achievement has been the establishment of the Middleman Family Pavilion in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Named for Stan and his wife Roslyn, and built in 2022, Middleman Family Pavilion is the sole additional location for the world-famous Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania.

We were honored and fascinated to get to hear all about the generous endeavors that Team Freedom Cares, and Stan himself, have undertaken. We know you will be fascinated too. Welcome to What the M, Stan!
